Hummm! does not seem very active perhaps a note in the Altadena Community New letter may help. Also some hot topic discussion might be suggested like: The proposed Island on Thorn St., Water saving Ideas, Neighbohood Safety, etc.
Well it's happened for the second time in the last 3-4 weeks to me. Just wondering how many others? Yup! for the second time in the last 3-4 weeks I have had a package stolen from my front porch. This is really getting old! I happend to mention this to a couple of neighbors and they too said that stuff has been stolen. I think there must be someone watching for the Fed-X or UPS trucks to come by and cleaning up after they are gone. Suggest we get some action on this before we all have to get bars back on our windows. -Brian-
The police have really come to the aid of our Altadena area ! They have arrested 3 people in conjunction with the burglaries in our area, thanks to the eyes and ears of our neighbors. Kudos to all. They raided one house that not only led to an arrest but the house was full of items stolen from all parts of San Diego. Neighbor are gathering together, getting involved and being pro-active in keeping our neighborhood safe. I love our neighborhood ! It will only get better.
The Altadena Neighborhood Association is an organization which assists residents and businesses of Altadena to assemble, associate and work together to improve our neighborhood.

Crime in the "Hood"
